ABOUT OUR COACHes
Broc Bidwell - Owner & Lead trainer
Broc Bidwell brings a unique combination of Division I playing experience, player development, and a lifelong commitment to basketball to Bidwell Basketball Academy. A former student-athlete at Campbell University, Bidwell competed at the Division I level in both the Big South Conference and Colonial Athletic Association (CAA), gaining firsthand experience with the demands of high-level college basketball.
During his collegiate career, Bidwell established a strong role each year with the Fighting Camels playing from 2021 to 2026. With varying roles from the Bench to being a Starter - he knows what every situation feels like & how to maintain the right growth mindset throughout.
Before college, Bidwell established himself as an accomplished high school player. A four-time all-region and all-county selection, he transferred to Milton High School for his senior season and started at point guard for a 7-A state championship team that was ranked as high as No. 6 nationally. He finished his prep career with 1,503 points, more than 500 rebounds, and over 400 assists, while becoming the all-time leading scorer in West Forsyth High School history.
Bidwell's experience as a player shapes the foundation of the Academy's training philosophy: meaningful repetition, intentional skill development, basketball IQ, and the confidence to apply those skills in competitive environments. His goal is to create a training program where athletes are challenged to grow through consistent, purposeful work and develop the skills, habits, and confidence necessary to perform at a higher level.
